AOP Catalunya Wines

AOP Montsant

The Montsant AOP offers us red wines of great personality, the result of an exceptional terroir. Its slate soils and Mediterranean influence give these wines a unique complexity and elegance. You will find notes of red fruits, spices, aromatic herbs and a slight mineral touch that reflects the origin of the grape.

And for those looking for something fresher and lighter, our Joveres de Margalef rosé is the perfect choice. Made from Garnacha grapes, this wine will win you over with its balance between freshness and structure.

AOP Penedés

The Penedès, located in the heart of Catalonia, is a mosaic of soils and microclimates that is reflected in the diversity of its wines. From cavas, a symbol of elegance and celebration, to wines with fruity and mineral aromas, the Penedès offers a unique winemaking experience.

The white wines, made mainly with xarel·lo, macabeo and parellada, stand out for their freshness and acidity, such as Fransola from the Torres Family. The red wines, with varieties such as cabernet sauvignon and tempranillo, are wines with body and structure, perfect for pairing with dishes such as red meats.

AOP Empordà

The Empordà is an appellation of origin that surprises us with its diversity. From fresh and aromatic whites to reds with body and structure, here we find a unique expression of the territory. The sea breezes and sandy soils give Empordà wines a special minerality.

A good example of this diversity is Finca Malaveïna, a wine that reflects the personality of the area with notes of ripe red fruit, spices and a mineral touch.

AOP Terra Alta

Located in the west of Tarragona, it is a wine-producing corner with a very marked character. Its wines, especially the reds, are characterized by their strength and structure, thanks to the influence of the Mediterranean climate and the calcareous soils. Garnacha is the queen variety in this region, giving the wines an intensity of color, aromas of ripe red fruits and spices, and robust tannins.

However, we also find fresh and aromatic whites, as well as rosés with personality.

AOP Priorat

Priorat wines are characterized by their intense color, powerful tannins and aromas of ripe red fruits, spices and minerals. Its slate soils, called llicorella, provide a unique minerality to the grapes, mainly Grenache and Carignan.

The Mediterranean climate, with warm summers and cold winters, favors the ripening of the grapes and the concentration of flavors.

AOP Rías Baixas

In this selection we could not miss a DO Rías Baixas, recognized worldwide for its fresh and aromatic whites, especially made with the Albariño grape. Its proximity to the sea and granitic soils give these wines a very characteristic minerality and acidity.

Among the many quality Albariños produced in this region, Noelia Bebelia stands out. This wine that you can find in our menu is made with grapes from a small plot in Soutomaior, which gives it aromas of fruits and white flowers, and a saline touch. Its freshness and elegance make it a perfect companion for seafood and fish.

AOP Ribera del Duero

Ribera del Duero is one of the most prestigious appellations of origin in Spain, famous for its red wines made mainly with the Tempranillo variety. The vineyards extend along the Duero River, in a continental climate with an Atlantic influence that favors slow and uniform ripening of the grapes. The soils, composed mainly of clay and limestone, provide minerality and complexity to the wines.

Ribera del Duero red wines are characterized by their intense color, elegant tannins and aromas of ripe red fruits, spices and mineral notes. Their aging in oak barrels adds complexity and structure to these wines, making them a worldwide reference.

AOP La Rioja

Rioja is one of the most prestigious and oldest appellations of origin in Spain. Its wines, especially the reds, are recognized worldwide for their elegance and complexity. Made mainly from tempranillo, garnacha and graciano, these wines age in oak barrels, acquiring aromas and flavors that evolve over time.

Centenary wineries such as Marqués de Murrieta and emblematic wines such as Finca Martelo Reserva 2016 are a clear example of the excellence of Rioja.

AOC Côtes Provence

AOC Côtes de Provence is synonymous with elegance and freshness. Originating from the sunny Provence region of France, these wines, especially renowned for their rosés, offer a delicate and complex aromatic profile. With a predominance of grapes such as Grenache, Cinsault and Syrah, Côtes de Provence wines exhibit floral notes, red fruits and a touch of citrus that make them perfect to accompany a wide variety of dishes, from fish and seafood to white meats and salads.
